Guerra Family Portraits
A soft blanket, an adorable picnic basket and gorgeous afternoon lighting created the perfect setting for this family portrait session. We wanted photos in the studio as well as outdoors, so I was glad to find an appropriate spot right by the studio. The kiddos had a blast, giggling and playing with leaves. We even played some Zumba music to give them something to dance to!

Plum Family Portraits
It's always an honor to meet new people through referrals from past clients. The Plum family found out about my work through mutual friends in the musical theatre world and we ended up having a blast working together. We started with a more traditional setup in the studio and incorporated an image of Africa in honor of their commitment to their volunteer work overseas. Before moving the photoshoot outdoors, we took advantage of the light coming in the window for a mirrored portrait of the sisters.
Our photoshoot was on a Sunday afternoon, so downtown was unusually calm and quiet. Even though it was the middle of winter, there was still plenty of lush greenery to work with. We took our time exploring, hanging out and capturing portraits ranging from timeless and classic to hilariously goofy.

Modeling Portfolio - Margarita
Margarita is a brand new model who came to the studio to jumpstart her portfolio. She was shy at first, but it wasn't long before her natural modeling skills came out. Thanks to Justin Black for helping out as my temporary photography assistant and Andrea Benson for the fabulous makeup!
