Sara and Eric

I met Sara and Eric in our university's theatre department back when I first started college. Sara and I roomed together for 3 years and created all kinds of cool portraits together, including the cover of the July issue of Beyond Beauty Magazine.

Sara and Eric are ridiculously adorable together. I am so happy for their engagement and am honored to be taking part in their wedding this summer. We shot their engagement photos last summer at the Zilker Park in Austin. The Texas heat was merciless, but we stuck it out and caught some timeless portraits. Their first date was at a Chuys, so the quirky Austin location was a great set for the second half of our shoot.

Callie's Senior Portraits

It's not every day that I get to photograph a stunning redhead with such an incredible range of interests. Callie is entering WestPoint which tells you how driven and strong she is. Of course we had to capture classic photos of her in uniform, but we also had a blast exploring downtown in the cool weather. She mentioned how much she loves portraits incorporating water, so I'm glad she felt daring enough for some watery fashion photos of her own!

Winter Family Portraits

Only in Houston could we pull off an amazing beach photoshoot in the middle of winter. Last month I traveled to Lake Conroe to take family portraits of Mallory, Meredith, Christina and Greg for their Christmas card. I love this family so much, we always have a blast shooting together. Thanks to the drought, we had direct access to the beach and after a quirky outfit change we were able to use green spaces for a different look. We finished the shoot by blasting music and singing at the top of our lungs while capturing theatrical candids of the girls.

McAdams Family Weddings PART 2

I photographed John and Tricia's engagement portraits last month and part 2 of my McAdams Family Wedding blog seemed the perfect time to post them. We spent the afternoon strolling along the woodlands waterway and enjoying the beautiful weather.











Since I sang at John and Tricia's winter wedding at the Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church, I captured photos from the family's point of view. The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center provided a gorgeous location for their reception. The professional photographers they hired put me at ease so I could party and take photos when I felt inspired.
